Concert Supports Habitat For Humanity

The University of South Carolina Upstate Gospel Choir will stage a concert performance benefiting Henderson County Habitat for Humanity at the Blue Ridge Community College Conference Hall on Saturday, March 26, from 5-7 p.m.

Organized in 1979 by students seeking a way to honor their African-American culture on campus, the choir has performed in churches and other venues across North and South Carolina, as well as in major cities such as Chicago, Washington, D.C., Atlanta and a five-city tour of Switzerland.
