The Brevard Lady Blue Devils soccer team opened conference play in Franklin on Monday night against the 3-A Panthers.

After a disappointing performance in their season opener against Thomas Jefferson, the Blue Devils endured the two-and-a-half hour bus ride and the chilling wind to play their best match in several years.
