Anna Marie Hawkins, of Concord, N.C. and Scott Krew Owenby, of Brevard are pleased to announce their engagement.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dana and Wanda Hawkins, of Brevard. She graduated from Brevard High School and is also a graduate of UNC-Greensboro with a teaching degree in deaf education and is currently employed by Cabarrus County, N.C. schools.
