No Changes Proposed To Business Incentives


The policy Transylvania County uses to attract new business is basically sound and does not need an update, according to members of the county’s Economic Development Advisory Board.

Board member Mack McNeely, a local business owner, led a brief review of the policy during the board’s monthly meeting Thursday.

He said the program is flexible and simple. To qualify, a firm must invest more than $250,000 and create at least five new jobs.
