The manuscript for Transylvania Genealogy Group’s soon to be released book, “The Heritage of Transylvania County, North Carolina, Volume III,” holds a diverse collection of stories from the county’s past. The largest single work within the collection is the never before published, fifty page story of railroading in Transylvania with 114 illustrations and photographs, researched and compiled by widely published railroad expert Tom Fetters.
