Schools Fill Time Capsule For 2161

Imagine the year is 2161.

You are a historian writing about the lives of people in a North Carolina county established 300 years ago at the start of the Civil War in 1861 – Transylvania County.

You are particularly interested in the celebration commemorating its 150th anniversary in 2011.

You’ve visited the Transylvania County Library and found in its incredible archives a time capsule from that year created by children from schools across the County.
