Bracken Mountain Trail Starting To Take Shape

TRANSYLVANIA COUNTY, N.C. Transylvania County, already renowned for its outdoor culture, will soon bolster its reputation even more as the Bracken Mountain Trail nears completion.

The six-mile hiking and mountain bike tail consists of two segments. One is a four-mile loop around Bracken Mountain. The other is a two-mile trail connecting to Forest Service Road 475C, thus connecting downtown Brevard to the Pisgah National Forest.
