Local Student Elected FFA Vice President –Brevard N.C.


Zack Davis

Zack Davis of Brevard was elected State Future Farmers of America (FFA) Vice President on June 21, 2012, at the 84th State FFA Convention. Zack will serve a one-year term of service.

Over the next year, he will serve as an ambassador for youth, agriculture and education. He will travel over 100 days visiting FFA chapters, meeting with agribusiness leaders and representing the North Carolina FFA Association in various state and national meetings.

Zack is the son of Daniel and Cynthia Davis. He is a graduate of Brevard High School where Andy Von Cannon and Dan Harris were his agricultural education/FFA instructors.

The North Carolina FFA Association has 19,127 members in 230 FFA chapters. The FFA student organization is an integral part of the agricultural education program. Agricultural education and FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success.
