Premiums Are An Incentive

 


The county commissioners made the right move last week when they decided to establish a health and wellness center for county employees, but they undercut that decision when they failed to implement a refundable $50 premium.

While funding to provide a facility and staff was unanimously approved, commissioners Jason Chappell and Daryle Hogsed voted against implementing the premium; commissioners Mike Hawkins and Page Lemel voted for implementation. Commissioner Larry Chapman was absent from the meeting.
