Bad Budgets


Now that both the Senate and House of North Carolina’s General Assembly have passed their budgets, a committee will try to reconcile their differences before sending a budget to the governor for his signature. While there are specific differences, the overall theme is the same: reduce personal income and corporate tax rates, expand the sales tax to cover more services, and decimate public education spending.
