DuPont Forest Unveils Its New Bridge, Visitor Center - Brevard NC

Around 200 people gathered Monday at DuPont State Recreational Forest to witness the culmination of many years of work during the official unveiling of both a new pedestrian bridge near Hooker Falls and a new visitor center at the High Falls Parking Area.

Standing on the newly constructed 120-foot-long pedestrian bridge spanning the Little River, Department of Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler described the completion of the pedestrian bridge project, “one of those ‘wow’ moments.”
