Incredible Feat Or A Fraud?

 


Every few years an individual achieves some astounding physical feat that renews our belief that if we put our entire body, mind and soul into an endeavor, nearly anything can be accomplished.

Last week 64-year-old Diana Nyad swam 110 miles across the Florida Straits from Cuba to Key West. It took her more than 52 hours and 54 minutes to complete the swim. Although she wore a swimsuit that protected her from jellyfish stings, which had foiled two of her previous four attempts at swimming the Florida Straits, she swam without the aid of a shark cage.
