Transylvania County’s longest-standing murder trial was delayed again after Superior Court Judge James Thomas Davis granted a motion to continue the case.
Amber Dalton, who was charged with one count of first-degree murder in the death of Richard Hampton Holden on Aug. 21, 2009 at his apartment on Unity Drive in Brevard, had been scheduled to be tried on that charge, as well as charges of felony breaking and entering, second degree kidnapping, communicating threats and assault with a deadly weapon this week.
