Denver Lloyd Begley, 49, of Rosman, formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away Nov. 29, 2013, after complications due to cancer.

He leaves behind three loving daughters, Madison Owen and her husband, Cole, of New Jersey, Diana Begley, of Rosman, and Jessica Harper, of Florida. He is also survived by his parents, James and Barbara Begley, of Rosman; one sister, Shanna Lance, of Pisgah Forest; two brothers, Jim Begley, of Reno, Nev. and Robert Begley, of Rosman; three grandchildren, Reagan and Kennedy Owen, of New Jersey and Kayden Chapman, of Rosman; 10 nieces and nephews, 10 great-nieces and nephews, and numerous friends.

He was employed in the construction trade for 30 years and loved NASCAR, crossword and logical thinking puzzles, among other eccentricities.

He will be greatly missed by many.

Memorial services were held at 6 p.m. Sunday Dec. 1, 2013, at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel.

The family received friends from 5 until 6 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
