Study Supports Median, Roundabout On Broad - Brevard NC

A traffic impact study found a roundabout and a median on North Broad Street in Brevard would neither increase congestion nor hurt traffic flow.

The city hired a traffic engineering firm, Mattern & Craig, of Asheville, to do the study.

Beginning in spring last year, the engineers did traffic counts at 16 intersections along North Broad and North Caldwell streets from the Main street intersections to the intersection in front of Food Lion.
