Local Students Dominate Regional Science Fair - Brevard NC

After dominating a recent regional science fair, Transylvania County high school students are heading to Raleigh next week to compete in the N.C. State Science and Engineering Fair.

The 14 Brevard High School students and one Rosman High School student are members of the TIME Honors Science Research Program, which is based at Brevard High.

TIME, which stands for Time to Inquire, Matter and Explore, is a research course allowing students to pursue scientific topics they are interested in. Students also work closely with the United States Forest Service, the N.C. Forest Service, Fish and...
