Re-visioning Education

 


The two county high schools are underpopulated. All of the students won’t fit into one school and a proposed solution is to build a new school in an area part way between the two. This would ensure that all are equally inconvenienced and no one gets to walk to school. We are looking at a lot of cost; hearing a lot of angst and acrimony.

What a wonderful opportunity for innovation and, coincidentally, community development! What if we could have a Transylvania High School that extended across two campuses and seamlessly integrated students into the local technical and liberal arts col...
