Rosman Aldermen Discuss Raising Sewer Rates - Brevard NC

With a quorum of three Tuesday night, the Rosman Board of Aldermen discussed the possibility of raising sewer rates in the upcoming fiscal year that begins July 1.

“We’ve not changed our sewer and water rates in quite a few years,” Rosman Mayor Brian Shelton said. “We’ve got to look at our sewer rates because we can’t keep losing money.”

Shelton said the town was in good shape with its water rates because it has paid off its water bond, but it still has to pay off its sewer bond, which costs about $13,000 a year.
