Paws To Read Program Begins – Rosman NC

Paul Vis, animal shelter director at Transylvania County Animal Services has announced their new reading program, Paws to Read, which will be held at the new Shelter at 1124 Old Rosman Highway.

Paws to Read is open by appointment year round for readers of all ages who enjoy spending time with animals. The program benefits readers as they practice their skills in front of an appreciative audience of dogs or cats who are grateful for human interaction.

The reading materials were provided by Dr. Clyde Brooks, DVM, and Meredith Baldrige of State Farm Insurance. The books teach animal safet...
