Vietnam Veterans And Agent Orange Exposure – Brevard NC


A veteran who served in the Republic of Vietnam between Feb. 28, 1961 through May 7, 1975 is presumed to have been exposed to Agent Orange and other herbicides used in support of military operations. The below-listed specific diseases are presumed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to be service-connected for monetary compensation purposes.

They are:

• Al Amyloidosis

• Chronic B cell leukemia

• Chloracne (or similar acneform disease)

• Diabetes Mellitus Type 2

• Hodgkin’s disease

• Ischemic Heart Disease

• Multiple Myeloma

• Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma
