Silvermont - 'Same Place, Next Year' – Brevard NC


Walk by any vegetable garden at this time of year and things tend to look, well, choose a description: worn, spent, shabby, decaying. This is normal. Seeds were planted, grew, blossomed and produced their gifts. Most gardeners at this point decide to “thank and yank” spent plants. Out to the compost pile or curbside they go. The garden can wait for the following spring. No wonder gardeners are ready to take a break. Vegetable gardening requires season-long monitoring and constant work.
