Time Called On City Restaurant - Brevard NC

After 23 years, The Clock of Brevard's time is up and will close its doors Jan. 30.

This past August, Banias family members initially announced the popular Asheville Highway restaurant was closing, but due to building code issues at their new location in Greenville, S.C., they decided to stay open longer here to make ends meet.

Jimmy and Evan Banias, along with their father, Lazaros, are opening The Clock on Cedar Lane, north of downtown Greenville.

Their mother, Kiki, said the family doesn't want to leave Brevard, but that they could no longer afford to pay the rent for the site. Acc...
