Crisis Center To Open – Brevard NC

A new 24-hour urgent care and crisis center for those with mental or behavioral disorders that will provide care for an 11-county district, will be opening next year in Asheville thanks to a $2 million grant from the N.C. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).

The facility will be staffed by licensed clinicians, registered nurses, peer support specialists and sheriff’s deputies, all with the goal of providing early intervention, crisis response and urgent care treatment in a single location.
