The Tiger varsity baseball team scored all the runs it would need in the bottom of the first inning Friday, cruising to an 11-3 win in Smoky Mountain Conference action.
Josh Rice opened the bottom of the first by being hit with a pitch, and then advanced on a single by Cam Dotson. Both runners moved into scoring position on a passed ball.
Dillon Zachary ground-ed out, but scored Rice for a 1-0 lead.
Tyler Petit then hit a grounder to second base, scoring Dotson to make it 2-0.
Tanner Galloway reached on an error and Kameron Newman singled.
