Truventure Workshop To Aid Lifestyle Entrepreneurs – Brevard NC

 


A Truventure workshop weekend for lifestyle entrepreneurs will be held in Brevard this weekend May 29-31.

Featured speakers are Angela Owen, Gordon Murray, Phil Davis and Tom Dempsey.

Owen, a Rosman High School graduate, received her B.S. in electrical engineering from N.C. State University. After working for Procter & Gamble for 14 years in various leadership positions, she returned to Transylvania County to start her own business, TBL Leadership Partners.

Murray is a Brevard native who graduate from Brevard High, Brevard College and Appalachian State University. He has been in marketing and management for more than 20 years. He is an avid runner, finishing five triathlons and more than a dozen marathons.

Davis, who ran a full-service advertising firm in Tampa, Fla. before moving to Brevard, is the founder of Tungsten Branding. He has helped more than 200 companies brand and market their products and services worldwide.

Tom Dempsey, a graduate of Auburn University, is the founder of SylvanSport, manufacturer of the GO, a new concept in camping. Demspey is a leader in designing and manufacturing outdoor products.

The weekend will focus on helping entrepreneurs network and develop successful strategic plans. There also will be outdoor excursions Hiking, Biking and paddling in the county.
