City Budget Hearing Set For This Monday - Brevard NC


On Monday, the public gets to have its last say on the proposed Brevard City Council budget, which, as it currently stands, includes a 2-cent property tax increase and hike in utility bills.

After one workshop, little has changed in the budget introduced by interim City Manager Jim Fatland last month.

The required public hearing on the 2015/16 fiscal year budget will be held during council's regular meeting, which begins at 7 p.m. in the council chambers. The council is also expected to approve the budget Monday. The new fiscal year begins July 1.
