Torturing Fish For Fun And Not Much In The Way Of Profit

 


The stale pieces of bread landed heavily on the water’s surface with a plop, and immediately small bluegill began nipping at it.

They were much too small to even sink the bread, much less fit it in their small mouths.

The pond itself has little to recommend it — tea-colored water from all of the decaying vegetation, little in the way of habitat for fish, and with the manicured appearance of a golf course water trap or retention pond.
