Move Forward With The Ecusta Trail

 


If holding the opportunity for industry that would need the rail service is the issue keeping our County Commissioners back from supporting what could clearly lead to increased commerce in our home, what do they expect will be hauled in/out?

Passenger service is out of the question. If the rail is ever used for cargo, the overwhelming odds are that it will be coal that would be hauled to Pisgah Forest. Coal and petroleum dominate rail freight. Manufactured goods travel by truck in this century. Do we really think the citizens of our community would quietly or enthusiastically embrace a...
