City Taking Another Look At Water - Brevard NC


For the past few years, Brevard has seemed, outwardly at least, on a path to eventually build a new water plant, but since former city manager Joe Moore resigned March 31 that project’s progress is less clear.

Interim City Manager Jim Fatland said during a May meeting of the council’s Public Works and Utilities Committee meeting the estimated $40 million it could cost to build a new water plant was “rather high as far as impact on customers.”
