Ground Broken On Downtown Project - Brevard NC

The latest rendering of the proposed building and plaza on South Broad Street in Brevard was released to the public Tuesday during a groundbreaking ceremony.

Members of the community gathered Tuesday morning at the corner of Broad and Jordan streets in Brevard for a ceremonial groundbreaking of a project that will bring a new three-story building and plaza to downtown.

Architect Mike Domokur, who owns the property, plans to build a private underground parking garage for the adjacent Aethelwold building, while the three-story building will provide 4,500 square feet of retail and residential space. Domokur Architects will occupy half of the second floor, while negotiations with a potential tenant to occupy the entire first floor are underway....
