A Guilt Free Life

Due to the recent surge of comments about the abortion issue, for and against, there is a much better solution. How about a guilt free life?

A program began in 1903 for young girls and women who were pregnant, scared and had no idea what to do. This solution is the Florence Crittenton Services. Fortunately, these services are still available in Charlotte, as a healthy alternative for at risk, pregnant women and adolescents in North Carolina. The babies are delivered at Carolinas Health Care System, and if the mother chooses, the baby can be adopted. There are many heart warming stories from men and women who have been adopted through this program.

The majority of the residents (sixth through twelfth grade) are enrolled in the TAPS (Teenage Parenting Services), which is part of Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. Others may be working on their GED. Services are available to help these young women prepare for a better future.

I would urge all who are concerned about young pregnant girls facing decisions about abortion to learn more about Florence Crittenton Services. There is a much better solution than abortion.

Google Florence Crittenton Services of N.C. or call (704) 372-4663.
