Brevard Ballet will present "Ballet: An American Art," a brief review of how this foreign art form became very American in the twentieth century, thanks to the contributions of pioneers such as George Balanchine, Lincoln Kirstein, Antony Tudor, Jerome Robbins and Agnes De Mille. See works based on "Serenade," "Sylvia," "Little Improvisations," "Fancy Free" and "Rodeo" performed by local dancers ranging in age from 8 to 19.
