Court's Pros, Cons Heard – Brevard NC

 


If Transylvania County commissioners decide to build a new courthouse, making sure the current courthouse building remains a vibrant part of downtown is critical.

That sentiment was repeatedly heard Monday during the commissioners’ regular meeting.

During the meeting, Dan Mace, with Moseley Architects, laid out the pros and cons (see below) of three basic options: build a new courthouse beside the public safety complex on Morris Road, renovate the current courthouse and build an addition, or do nothing.
