Woman Cited After Plowing Car Into Front Of CVS Pharmacy

Extensive damage was caused to the front of the CVS building on the Asheville Highway.

A 90-year-old woman drove her car through a front window in the Brevard CVS on Wednesday afternoon, trapping a female store clerk.

Bonnie Bracken was cited with reckless driving by Brevard police officers after driving her car through the window at the Asheville Highway pharmacy about 4 p.m.

According to Police Chief Phil Harris, Bracken thought she had put her car in reverse to pull out of a parking spot in front of the store after shopping when her car pushed forward, damaging the front of the building.
