BHS Competes At Women's Golf Conference Championship – Brevard NC

The Brevard High School Lady Blue Devils golf team put together a strong performance at the 18-hole WNC Athletic Conference championship held Tuesday at Etowah Country Club.

Meredith Barton shot a 98, to finish in third, while Rachel Byrd finished tied for eighth – shooting a 111. Both girls received All-Conference honors.

Barton also qualified for regionals by registering a nine-hole average of 47. In order to qualify, a golfer must have a nine-hole average of 55.

The regional tournament will be held at the Etowah Country Club next Tuesday, Oct. 20.
