Injury-Plagued Tigers Shutout Braves 21-0 – Rosman NC


With several key offensive players sidelined with injuries, Gage Orr is now the Tigers' primary weapon. Orr helped guide Rosman to their third shutout win of the season over Cherokee Friday night. Orr finished with 115 yards rushing on 20 carries, one reception for 23 yards and two touchdowns. He also intercepted three Braves' passes on defense. (Times photos by Scotty Ruff)

The Rosman Tigers defense pitched another shutout Friday as the Tigers traveled to Cherokee and defeated the Braves 21-0. It was the Tigers third shutout of the season, but the win came with a huge loss.

The Tigers simply cannot catch a break on the injury front. Rosman is still without their first and second string quarterbacks and now with an injury to Tanner Green, they are down a running back as well.

The Tigers have outscored their opponents 128-37 in the conference and 277-85 overall. Green was a huge part of that scoring production.
