Businesses Reflect On 'Leaf Season' - Brevard NC


As leaf season comes to an end for another year, local businesses reported they were quite busy.

Clark Lovelace, the Brevard/Transylvania Chamber of Commerce’s and Tourism Development Authority’s executive director, said the feedback he’s heard from businesses was of an “incredibly busy October.”

Lovelace said that traffic at the chamber’s Visitor Center on East Main Street in Brevard is up 10 percent, so far, from last year, when 17,200 people came through the center asking for assistance.
