Mountain Bikers Worry About Forest Service Plan -Brevard NC

Supporters of mountain biking worry that their access to U.S. Forest Service land could become limited in the future.

The Forest Service is in the process of updating its land management plan, which includes identifying public land suitable for inclusion in the Wilderness Preservation System (see Below). Mountain biking, unlike hiking, horse-back riding, hunting, fishing and rock climbing, is not allowed in wilderness areas.
