Brevard Couple Cherish Their Shelties – Brevard NC

In the early 1980s, Brevard resident Gail Norris, known to many around town as a lover of dogs, let the cat out of the bag.

Norris, who was working for Ecusta at the time as a corporate buyer, came back to work one day and noticed a peculiar looking cat that would forever change her life.

"It was in the bushes when I came back from lunch and it came right up to me," she said. "We took it into the building and hid it," she added, with a laugh.

That peculiar cat, which was adopted by a fellow employee, would be a turning point in Norris' and her husband Randy's lives.
