Local Has A Vision For Swallowtail Summit Farms

A local resident is searching for help and advice to establish a working farm for autistic adults. Retired veteran George Bean owns 33 acres near the entrance to the Cascade Lake campground and wants to give his high-functioning autistic daughter, Lorie, and others a purposeful life.

Swallowtail Summit Farms is in the planning stages now, but Bean has been using his own equipment and elbow grease, putting in roads, clearing areas for building and drafting a master plan for the property.
