Rosman Tigers Stay

Perfect in SMC Play

Zach Stroup scored 32 points Tuesday night as the Rosman Tigers beat Andrews 73-53 to stay undefeated in Smoky Mountain Conference play.

For Stroup, a senior, it was his second straight game with 30 or more points after dropping 30 on Mitchell last Saturday.

Going into the game against Mitchell, Stroup was western North Carolina’s fourth leading scorer, averaging 21.6 points per game. He was also second in steals with 4.3 takeaways per game.

Deland Thomas and Jacob Hall contributed 13 points each while Luke Stewart tacked on nine points.
