Project Still On Target Despite Delay - Brevard NC

The latest rendering of the proposed building and plaza on South Broad Street in Brevard was reeased to the public .

A downtown Brevard development that will provide roughly 4,500 square feet of retail and residential space is still slated for an opening this summer, despite a recent snag in plans.

Developer Mike Domokur said on Friday that a tenant slated to occupy a large space in the building - at the corner of Broad and Jordan streets - had pulled out of the project, causing a local bank that provided financing for the project to back out as well.

However, Domokur said he was in the process of changing banks and that a change in financing isn't going to hold up the project.
