Clemson Park Edges Closer To New Look – Brevard NC

 

The city of Brevard is getting closer to choosing a final design plan for the Clemson Park site that could look similar to the above provided rendering. Groundbreaking on the project is scheduled to begin in August.

Brevard City Council approved funding during its recent annual retreat for a new-look Clemson Park at the corner of West Main and South Broad streets in downtown.

Council unanimously approved a budget for the park, located beside the Co-Ed Cinema. The site used to be the home of the Clemson movie theatre.

The project has been part of the city's Downtown Master Plan, which has been developed by the city's Downtown Master Plan Committee, and has been discussed as a way to help make downtown space more attractive.
