Five Injured In Rosman Highway Wreck Monday - Brevard NC

Five people, including two children, were taken to the hospital Monday after a two-vehicle crash on Rosman Highway in which both drivers were cited.

According to Trooper S.A. McFarland with the N.C. Highway Patrol, William Burrell, 84, of Lake Toxaway, was taken to Mission Hospital by helicopter about 5 p.m. after his white Toyota Prius was struck at the intersection of Rosman Highway and Clement Road near Harmony Korner.

Burrell, who suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries, was cited with failure to yield right of way.
