HB2: The Money Drain


I just turned 78 years old. I was born a southern white male in a small town in Tennessee. I am an only child; my parents were both hard working high school graduates, and other than moving around a lot as a kid, I was pampered by generous parents.

I graduated from high school, college, and law school. I served eight years in the Marine Corps Reserves. My values were hard-wired by age 18 when I participated in a lunchroom sit-in at the Normal Tea Room (1956) in Memphis with a group of Memphis State Normal College students from New York.
