Lorie Stroup Named Acting District Ranger-Pisgah Forest, NC

 

The National Forests in North Carolina announced that Lorie Stroup will be the acting district ranger following the departure of Derek Ibarguen who has led the Pisgah Ranger District since November 2011.

Ibarguen accepted a new job as the deputy forest supervisor of the Bridger-Teton National Forest in Jackson, Wyo. His last day on the Pisgah Ranger District is July 22. Stroup will serve as the acting district ranger until the position is permanently filled.
