Air Conditioning May Not Save Dogs

Last week an officer investigated a report concerning a dog left in a vehicle during high temperatures. The vehicle was running with the air conditioning on, so no action was considered.

Several years ago my brother in Canada left his dog in the car with the air conditioning running while he visited his wife in a care facility. When he returned, the dog was dead. The air conditioning unit had failed for some reason.

If you think your dog is safe, think again.
