New Adopt-A-Trail Program Sees Success - Brevard NC

Bennett Gap trail in Pisgah National Forest will open year round to mountain bikes Aug. 1, thanks to the efforts of Pisgah Area SORBA (PAS), a local chapter of the Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association, the forest service and local business owners.

The trail reopening is part of the new Adopt-A-Trail program, a SORBA initiative. The roughly 3-mile Bennett Gap trail starts and ends on Avery Creek Road in Pisgah National Forest. It's the same road on which the Pisgah Riding Stables is located.
