Pauline Edwards Scarborough passed away July 16, 2016 at the age of 103.
She was the daughter of Earl Edwards and Nellie Pearle Tyson Edwards of Macon, Mo., which was her childhood home. She graduated from Central Methodist College, Fayette, Mo. and did graduate studies in music at Columbia University in New York City.
She worked as a public school music teacher and as a church organist before she married William (Bill) Lee Scarborough Dec. 30, 1938, in Macon in a ceremony conducted by Rev. William Louis Scarbor-ough, relocated to Waynesboro, Va. where her husband became the DuPont plan...
