Brevard College Students Return To Campus

Brevard College students are back in town, and college officials anticipate overall enrollment to be more than 700.

The exact number won't be known until later, however.

This fall, the amount of applications, acceptances, paid deposits and academic profile of students from Transylvania County increased from last fall.

The average GPA of incoming new students from Transylvania County last year was 3.01 compared to 3.05 this fall. The average SAT score increased from 995 last year to 1033 this year. The college also saw 22 applications from Rosman High School students this year versus 16 l...
